I love the versions with some amount of shimmer, they go on well and generally stay pretty well. However, the matte versions go on terribly, they tug on the eyelid badly, and just look a mess. Have not found a good way to get them to go on evenly and nicely no matter trying to warm on my hand first, etc. Ilia please fix the formulation for the matte shades!

I have dark circles - a purplish cast under my eyes that has become more prominent over time. This foundation surprised me by serving perfectly as a concealer, even though it's very lightweight. Goes on beautifully as foundation, too. However, it's quite shiny, too much so for my 50-something skin. Ultimately I switched to the True Skin Serum Foundation, which is more skin-like and less dewy (shiny), which is perfect.
